Win the chance to house your start-up at IDEALondon
Need a space to house your startup? You’re in luck. Cisco, networking sponsor for Wired Money, is offering a six-month residency at IDEALondon, its Shoreditch Innovation Centre.
Here’s what you can win:
- A six-month residency, starting from September, 2013
- 2 to 4 desks at IDEALondon as a startup championed by Cisco
- Wider eco-system and networking support from Cisco and partners
- Mentoring and business acceleration programmes
With IDEALondon, Cisco aims to support the growth of digital and media companies, in particular the most promising startups. Cisco is partnered with UCL and DC Thompson to create the centre that will offer access to consultancy and mentoring programmes, as well as other opportunities for training and business support. It’s all part of Cisco’s bid to support and nurture the kind of innovation that’s being seen in London’s Tech City and in other hotspots in the UK.
The facility will host around 15 digital and media small companies, delivering on the partners’ commitments to support hubs like Tech City – estimated to contribute £66.4 billion to the UK economy annually.
Unlike typical business incubators and accelerators, IDEALondon will develop services to support and grow startups in the digital and media sectors, with UCL and DC Thompson bringing their own strengths, existing relationships and expertise to the project.
